This richly embossed Hanau silver tea set is made in mid 19th century of 800/1000 silver fineness. Hallmarked with German Silver marks, with 800 mark for silver fineness and Hanau makers mark. The tray is part of the set and has been made of wood adorned with silver od left and right and in the middle of upper part of tray. The set is also marked with monogram, letters S and H. Set is in a good antique condition, displays beautiful rich age patina, visible some surface scratches on the wood.
