Silver chain mail mesh lady’s chatelaine coin purse. A charming piece, the thick framework features detailed embossing of mistletoe and berries. Having a kiss-lock closure and opening to reveal a hinged interior divider. The purse is of fine quality chain mail mesh. A loop ring on the frame allows for the purse to be suspended from a lady’s chatelaine belt or a chain. Marked with very small hallmarks, not possible to present on pictures but has been tested and silver 800/1000 was found to be genuine. In good condition with general wear, no holes or tears to this lovely mesh chain mail. Weights 51.74 grams.
