About

Clichy vase in green pink and white colour marbled glass and in excellent condition. The Cristallerie de Clichy(1842-1896) was created by Louis-Joseph Maës and Louis Clémandot, known primarily for their crystal paper balls. It was founded in 1842 and closed in 1896. It owes its famous fame to the sudden fashion of paper weight balls decorated with watermarks and colorful “millefiori” candies, a production in which it was launched in 1846-1847.
