This magnificent black powder horn is from South Africa, probably from Morocco or Algeria, first half of 19th century. Brass mounts are engraved and embossed with  floral an abstract designs all over. It has two forge formed figural loops solidly attached at the inside curve where the leather straps can be mounted. It is in a relatively good condition with signs of use, visible on the photos. Age-related wear, abrasion and dents.
