This is a hand-painted Polish icon of Jesus Christ from 1983 on Wood, signed by Drewniok in the lower left corner. It depicts Jesus with a crown of thorns on his head, dressed in red cloth with a slight look up. The depiction of Jesus is set in an oval shaped background that is gilded with gold leaves. On the back, it is marked with the author’s name, city, dimensions and year when it was created.
