A two-day marine chronometer by Thomas Mercer, St, Albans, Special Centenary 1858-1958. The four inch silvered dial signed ” Thomas Mercer LTD, St Albans, England ”, blued steel hands and fusee movement in a gimballed mount within a wooden glazed case. It does show the normal scratches abrasions to exterior of the bowel and nicks from normal use and age. Movement N. is 7480 – 1941
