Yugoslavia- Serbia Kingdom Order Of St. Sava V Class
This is the original order of St. Sava V class (Yugoslavia -Serbia Kingdom, 1921-1941)! It is made in silver gilt with blue, white and red enamels, image of the Saint in Green Robes on the central white enamelled oval disk, dated “1883”. Comes without the box!
The Order of St. Sava was a decoration of merits, awarded by the Kingdom of Serbia, the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia from 1883 to 1945. There is a same named Order of merits, awarded by the Serbian Orthodox Church since 1985.
In a good condition, consistent with age, it has not been cleaned. Enamel is very well preserved and without damages, metal displays natural patina.
